A growing and innovative annuity carrier is looking to add an Actuarial Manager to their VA team! This role will be responsible for performing various analysis to support business strategy relating to their Variable Annuity business. Responsibilities:
- Performing financial impact analysis of various strategic business initiatives
- Modeling of hedges in VM-21
- Analysis related to asset investment, asset sale and reinvestment strategies
- Work collaboratively across the Finance and Risk businesses
Qualifications:
- FSA or career ASA
- 7+ years of actuarial experience relating to VA products, hedging, modeling, and/or valuation
- Advanced knowledge of financial mathematics, derivative pricing theory, rate & equity derivative instruments preferred
