They are seeking an Secondaries Associate to join their team in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Support: Assist in the execution of secondary transactions, including LP stake sales, fund restructurings, and direct secondary deals.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective secondary transactions, including financial analysis, market research, and operational assessments.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate secondary investment opportunities and support transaction structuring.
- Market Research: Perform in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the private equity secondary market.
- Deal Sourcing: Support the sourcing of secondary transactions through industry networking, relationship building, and market analysis.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed investment memos, pitch materials, and other transaction-related documentation.
- Client Interaction: Assist in managing relationships with clients, including general partners, limited partners, and other stakeholders, to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Industry Engagement: Stay current on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to provide informed insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) are a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a related field, with a focus on secondary market transactions
