Role:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including China corporates, FIs, and NBFIs
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in trade finance, including structuring and selling trade finance including receivables and supply chain finance solutions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the trade finance sector.
- Maintain a deep understanding of trade finance products and services, and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
- Work closely with internal teams, including credit, risk, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of trade finance solutions.
- Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in trade finance sales, preferably with exposure to the Chinese market.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of trade finance products and the regulatory environment in China.
