Job Title: Commercial Underwriter (Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite commercial insurance applications for general liability, commercial auto, and commercial property lines of business.
- Analyze risk factors and determine the appropriate coverage and premium for each policy.
- Collaborate with agents and brokers to gather necessary information and ensure a thorough understanding of each client's unique needs.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential exposures.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform underwriting decisions.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, agents, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Underwriter.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
