An up-and-coming data provider is looking for a Technical Account Manager to their team to lead the technical onboarding process and manage client relationships!
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Technical Onboarding Process: Manage the end-to-end technical onboarding for new customers, from closing deals to ongoing relationship management and providing technical support.
- Drive Revenue Expansion: Identify and lead opportunities for revenue growth, including upselling and renewals.
- Collect Customer Insights: Gather valuable customer feedback, testimonials, and case studies.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Establish and uphold accurate, timely, and well-documented forecasting and record-keeping procedures, ensuring our CRM system remains organized and up-to-date.
- Cultivate Executive Relationships: Build a network of executive connections within the industry, as well as with key partners and customers.
- Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to spot potential business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives, delivering a seamless customer experience.
Requirements:
- User-Centric Communication: Proficiently engage with our user base, which includes developers and quants.
- Industry Expertise: Familiarity with PLG (Product-Led Growth), data products, quant trading, and market microstructure.
- Meticulous and Automated: Possess extreme attention to detail and record-keeping abilities, along with the skill to automate processes using HubSpot.
- Professional Tone: Exhibit professional communication skills that align seamlessly with the tone expected in an institutional financial product.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Provide white-glove management throughout the sales cycle, ensuring continuous buy-in from customers. Identify pain points, address friction, and maintain honesty when our product isn't the best fit. Avoid being overly pushy or sales-oriented, and recognize when to persist and when to step back.
- Results-Driven: Proven track record of setting ambitious sales targets, creating actionable plans to achieve them, and consistently delivering results.
- Bonus Skill: Active usage of GitHub is a plus
