We have been retained by a global hedge fund that is looking to add a Software Development Engineer to their Platforms Team in Chicago.
Scope of Work:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining software for the enterprise
- Spearheading DevOps and Development best practices
- Deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Writing code for infrastructure and application deployment automation
- Assisting with Kubernetes container platform operations
Tech Stack Includes: AWS, GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation pipelines, monitoring solutions, and infrastructure as code
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in CI/CD and configuration management tools
- Experience with automation scripting (Python/Bash)
