Role: Senior Python Support Engineer
Location: Amsterdam
A high-frequency proprietary trading firm, with more than 25 years of experience at the forefront of the high-frequency trading market, is seeking a proactive and technically engineer to join the Support Team.
My client believes in using innovative technology to create new opportunities in the world of finance and high frequency platforms. In this role you will ensure that systems and strategies are functioning optimally.
Responsibilities
- In order to improve the quality of trading systems you will leading latency analyses and performance investigations
- Ensuring efficient handling of issues, and providing timely solutions with both Regional and Global support teams
- Enhancing our existing Python script framework, driving its growth and contributing to the code base
- With an emphasis on market data and order routing you will provide support for high frequency trading systems,
- Developing, maintaining, and optimising Scheduling tools (Airflow DAGs) in line with business requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of industry experience
- Proven experience in the crypto or finance industry
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience in Scheduling tools like Airflow DAGs
- Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure and in-depth understanding of HFT systems, Order Passing, and Market Data
- Ability to coordinate with teammates in remote locations
- If necessary willingness to provide after-hours support
