Senior Software Engineer - Leading Energy Markets Firm - Fully Remote
Overview:
This client is a leading software solutions provider to the energy markets in North America. This firm supports System operators, Utility firms, and other similar institutions. The firm is aiming to scale it's software team and is in search of a senior member strong with the requirements below!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain code and scripts for project development
- Create and enhance systems leveraging C++ and web development frameworks
- Enhance the firms AI focus, including model development for analytical tasks
- Manage the firms databases including SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
- Collaboration with internal teams to ensure requirements are met in relation to electric power systems and market apps
Qualifications:
- Expertise within C++ programming and web dev frameworks such as Javascript, Python, or HTML/CSS
- Expertise within AI models, leveraging Python ML frameworks, such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, or equivalent
- Expertise within MS Access, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
- Exposure to electric power systems and or energy markets a plus
