Sr. Big Data Java Engineer
About Us: We provide IT solutions for Equity Prime Services, working closely with Front Office and Operations to deliver innovative and robust systems.
Role:
- Develop and maintain our data lake streaming platform in Azure
- Architect and design Kafka Stream-based Java applications
- Build data pipelines using Spark (Java)
- Ensure scalability and resiliency of systems
- Troubleshoot performance issues
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine customer requests
- Write, test, and deploy high-quality Java code
- Engage in pair programming and code reviews
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java development
- Proficiency with Kafka Streams and Spark
- Experience with distributed systems and big data
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and BDD (Cucumber)
