About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Turnaround and Restructuring to join this esteemed team in New York City. This role is with a leading turnaround and restructuring firm, renowned for its large restructuring clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee multiple turnaround and restructuring engagements, ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Develop and build 13-week cash flow forecasts and three-statement financial models from scratch.
- Analyze financial statements and operational data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to clients, helping them navigate complex financial and operational challenges.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and due diligence to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Travel as required to client sites and other locations to support project execution.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in turnaround and restructuring, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading engagements and building 13-week cash flows and three-statement models from scratch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
