As a Production Reliability Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to focus on automating processes to ensure reliability, address and resolve technical issues, and enhance production within their equity trading platforms. The best candidate will have an advanced skill-set in python and Linux whilst maintaining great attention to detail and ability to support and manage the life-cycle of software components.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of the software component life-cycle, ensuring peak performance and reliability at every stage.
- Deliver exceptional support to internal trading teams and counterparties, addressing complex needs with precision and efficiency.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while overseeing production on equity trading platforms.
- Execute advanced troubleshooting to swiftly resolve issues and minimise downtime.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of finance experience in a reliability/production engineering role
- Life-cycle management of software components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability from development through deployment.
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and system integration tasks.
- Experience with production on equity trading platforms
- Effective communication skills are essential.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills, swiftly identifying and resolving technical issues, minimising disruption, and maintaining system integrity.
- Proficient in Advanced Linux
- DevOps approach, integrating development and operations to streamline work-flows and enhance system reliability.
