A leading life and annuity company is looking to add an Actuary to their investing team based in NYC. This role will be focused on deploying capital on reinsurance and acquisition opportunities in the Insurance industry. This role must sit within NYC and must have experience with reinsurance deals. Responsibilities:
- Perform pricing and valuation due diligence on potential reinsurance and M&A transactions
- Review actuarial experience of blocks of business under consideration
- Identify potential risks in transactions
- Evaluate products and product design
Qualifications:
- ASA or FSA preferred
- Experience with reinsurance and M&A deals
- Experience with life products
- MG-ALFA experience preferred
