Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Portfolio Management Associate to join the firm's growing team in Chicago, IL. This role will be integral in managing and optimizing the firm's industrial real estate portfolio by driving financial analysis, market research, and asset management initiatives. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of real estate investments, financial modeling, and portfolio strategy within the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the management and performance analysis of the firm's industrial real estate portfolio.
Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.
Prepare and present quarterly asset performance reports, investor communications, and business plans.
Collaborate with acquisitions, leasing, and asset management teams to develop and execute strategic asset plans.
Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections for portfolio assets.
Work closely with property management and leasing teams to ensure optimal asset performance and occupancy rates.
Assist in capital planning and execution of value-add strategies to enhance portfolio returns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in real estate portfolio management, asset management, or financial analysis, preferably within the industrial sector.
Strong proficiency in Excel, ARGUS, and financial modeling.
Knowledge of real estate valuation methods, lease structures, and capital markets.
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
