A High Frequency Trading Firm is looking to bring a Platform Engineer to their team.
Salary 175,000-225,000 base salary with annual discretionary bonus
Responsibilities:
- Participate in designing and supporting highly available systems.
- Build out infrastructure on Kubernetes and enhance monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools.
- Improve CI/CD processes, support database architecture, and develop DevOps tooling.
- Research and implement new technologies, and advocate for change.
Required Skills, Experience & Abilities:
- Experience with mission-critical applications, AWS, EKS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, CI/CD pipelines, Python, and Linux.
- Knowledge of TLS, network communications (multicast, gRPC, websockets), and flexibility for off-hours support.
- Quick learner with a passion for technology, strong organizational skills, and prior exposure to cryptoasset infrastructure is a plus.
