Head of Natural Gas Trading - Hedge Fund
My client a multi-billion-dollar Fund based in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Head of Natural Gas. They need this candidate to specialize in trading financial markets with a keen focus on natural gas. The firm is committed to achieving exceptional results through innovative strategies and meticulous market analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the natural gas trading team, providing strategic direction and support to achieve trading objectives.
- Develop and implement sophisticated trading strategies to maximize profitability and mitigate risks.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and monitor trends to inform trading decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and effective communication.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in natural gas trading.
- At least 10+ years of experience in the financial markets.
- Demonstrated success in trading and team management within a hedge fund environment.
- In-depth knowledge of natural gas markets, pricing, and trading strategies.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
