Are you an actuary looking to find your next step? A Global Life and Annuity Reinsurance firm is currently seeking a Modeling Actuary with expertise using GGY-Axis to join their dynamic and innovate team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain actuarial models using GGY-Axis for various life and annuity insurance products, including but not limited to FIA, VA, and IUL
- Conduct in-depth analysis of actuarial data and provide insights to inform pricing, reserving, and risk management strategies
- Participate in peer reviews and validation processes to ensure model accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare and present reports and findings to senior management, assisting in strategic decision-making
Qualifications:
- ASA or FSA designation required
- 5+ years of actuarial experience, with a strong focus on modeling using GGY-Axis
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
