Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management: Optimize and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components. Ensure performance, scalability, and security.
- SQL Server Administration: Maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, security, and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and collaborate with developers on SQL optimization.
- Trading Environment Support: Understand and support the unique technology needs of a trading environment. Work closely with traders and stakeholders to align technology solutions with trading strategies.
- Information Security and Network Management: Develop and enforce security policies. Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers. Implement measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Python Programming and Data Analytics: Use Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis. Collaborate with data scientists to extract insights from large datasets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals. Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management, particularly with Azure and SQL Server.
- Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-500) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of trading environments and financial markets.
- Knowledge of network protocols, security, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Python programming for automation and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
