Position Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Wealth Fundraising to join their esteemed team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with private banks, GFIs (Global Financial Institutions), and other high-net-worth individuals across the EMEA region. Fluency in German or Nordic languages is a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to attract investments from private banks, GFIs, and high-net-worth individuals across the EMEA region.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential investors, clients, and strategic partners, leveraging language proficiency where applicable.
Client Engagement: Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their investment needs and objectives, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our firm's investment offerings.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new fundraising opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including investment professionals, marketing, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment of fundraising efforts with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Due Diligence: Coordinate and facilitate due diligence processes, including preparing investment materials, responding to investor inquiries, and addressing any concerns or objections raised during the fundraising process.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and track fundraising activities, pipeline development, and progress towards fundraising targets, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on private markets strategies, particularly in the areas of private debt and real estate, by actively participating in industry events, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5-12 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, or business development within the financial services industry, with a focus on private markets.
- Proven track record of success in raising capital from private banks, GFIs, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Deep understanding of private markets investment strategies, particularly in private debt and real estate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, fluency in German or Nordic languages is highly advantageous.
