This client is an Elite Boutique in NYC looking to expand their Leveraged Finance/Debt Advisory group at the VP level. They are looking for a VP1 or VP2 who has a good amount of transaction experience and can truly serve as a quarterback for their deal team. From a technical perspective, the are looking for candidates that have experience in private financings.
This is a fast growing group that is dedicated to growth, so there is a chance to become a larger piece of the advisory practice at the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage private financings, including leveraged buyouts (LBOs), debt refinancing, and private placements.
- Advise on a variety of capital markets deals, acquisitions, and M&A transactions.
- Work across a number of public financings, ensuring comprehensive transaction experience.
- Act as the quarterback of the deal team, leading transactions and stepping in when senior team members are out of the office.
- Identify and develop opportunities in additional sectors at the SMD and MD level, creating new business prospects.
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and valuation.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and pitch materials to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related financial services role, with a strong focus on private financings.
- Extensive transaction experience across private financings, capital markets deals, acquisitions, and M&A.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage deal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
