Investment Associate

Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a driven and analytical Investment Associate to join their Chicago team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience as an investment banking analyst, bringing strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis. This role offers the chance to work alongside senior investment professionals and gain exposure to a diverse range of investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions.
- Assist in the creation of investment presentations and pitch materials.
- Perform detailed market research and industry analysis to identify new investment opportunities.
- Monitor the performance of existing investments and suggest strategies for enhancement.
- Collaborate with senior associates and portfolio managers on developing investment strategies.
- Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience as an investment banking analyst.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analytical techniques.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
