Senior Health & Benefits Consulting Actuary
My client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Health & Benefits Consulting Actuary to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop intricate benefit design and renewal strategies to tackle complex client challenges.
- Collaborate closely with account management and client service teams on pre-renewal tactics, RFP dissemination, SPRs, open enrollment approaches, and post-renewal evaluations.
- Define the complete range of services to be provided to clients and establish and communicate timelines clearly with client service teams.
- Uphold responsibility for revenue and profitability concerning client accounts and projects.
- Monitor project achievements in terms of scope, budget adherence, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
- Supervise the introduction of new clients by laying out implementation plans, assembling teams, and setting timelines.
- Foster and sustain robust relationships with both clients and carriers.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of insurance markets, funding alternatives, networks, and benefit plan options.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in benefits consulting.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- ASA designation required, FSA designation preferred.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and ancillary insurance products.
- Practical knowledge of quoting process and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database applications.
