Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Managing Director - Capital Raising to lead our fundraising initiatives and expand our investor base across Europe. This is a senior leadership role central to the firm's ongoing growth and success, with a primary focus on building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and other strategic partners.
In this role, you will develop and execute effective fundraising strategies, manage the full capital-raising lifecycle, and contribute to the firm's overall vision of growth in the real assets sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead capital-raising initiatives for the firm's real asset funds, focusing on commercial and logistics assets.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and other partners across Europe.
- Drive the creation and implementation of innovative fundraising strategies aligned with the firm's long-term objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end fundraising process, including investor presentations, due diligence coordination, and closing commitments.
- Identify new opportunities within the real assets investment landscape, leveraging your expertise and network.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to investors, keeping them informed about investment strategies, fund performance, and market trends.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years' experience in capital raising within the real assets sector, with a focus on commercial and logistics investments.
- Proven success in building and managing relationships with institutional investors and family offices across Europe.
- A strong track record of securing substantial capital commitments and delivering results.
- Deep knowledge of real asset investment strategies and a keen understanding of the UK and German markets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
