The Finance and Operations Principal reports directly to the Europe CEO and acts as the deputy of the CEO.
Responsibilities:
The Role covers all aspects of the companies European business:
- Comprehend the Danish regulatory landscape, ensuring alignment with the Danish FSA and European regulations.
- Manage daily client interactions and transactions.
- Oversee facility management, systems, and controls.
- Approve new clients and drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.
- Direct project management efforts.
- Supervise outsourced IT, finance, and operations functions.
- Maintain robust controls over outsourced activities and approve significant changes to key processes, products, or business lines.
- Handle banking and custodian relationships.
- Ensure efficient cash and FX management.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for PH Europe.
- Continuously evaluate business health, report performance metrics, and implement changes for improvement.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting.
- Update policies and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with the internal audit function.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong analytical approach, with the ability to quickly grasp and flexibly address complex problem-solving.
- A self-starter, comfortable coordinating ad-hoc tasks and navigating competing deadlines.
- Adept at thriving in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic environment.
- Consistently deliver high-quality outputs, including presentations, written reports, and financial analysis.
- Capable of thinking both at an operational and strategic level.
- Skilled in communication across all levels within the Group.
- Experienced in financial services, either in-house or in an advisory role.
- Qualified accountant with around 5 years post-qualification experience (preferable).
