Role:
- Collaborate with a team of analysts to cover the Japan auto sector, including companies in the automotive manufacturing, auto parts, and related industries.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including complex modeling and valuation work.
- Write regular industry and company reports, as well as company initiations from scratch.
- Stay informed about market, industry, and company-specific activities.
- Build relationships with contacts at covered companies.
- Participate in client meetings and events.
- Interact with clients, both internal and external.
Requirements:
- Solid work experience in a relevant analytical or financial markets role.
- Prior sell-side or buy-side equity research experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of equity research, valuation, and financial markets.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to express views clearly.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and database management.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality, evidence-based reports.
- Proactive and willing to promote ideas to stakeholders.
- Native or business level Japanese language skills.
