Job Description:
As the Director of Capital Formation you will play a pivotal role in helping businesses achieve their financial goals by facilitating capital acquisition and structuring financial solutions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, investors, and financial institutions in order to help the firm fundraise. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on a firms growth and success. The ideal candidate will also have technical skills and be able to work cross functionally within the firm.
Director of Capital Formation Responsibilities:
- Capital Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive capital strategy to meet the firm's growth and investment objectives.
- Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors, effectively communicating investment opportunities and performance updates.
- Fundraising: Lead fundraising efforts, including identifying and pursuing new sources of capital, managing fundraising campaigns, and structuring investment deals.
- Due Diligence: Conduct financial analysis, risk assessments, and market research to evaluate potential investment opportunities and present findings to the executive team
Director of Capital Formation Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- ideally a background in investment banking
- Proven track record of at least 5 years of experience in capital formation, investor relations or financial advisory roles.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and investment strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
