Job Title: Associate, Private Credit

Over the past 2.5 years, they have successfully raised over $20 billion, with $6 billion dedicated to their middle-market direct lending fund. They are expanding their team and seeking a highly skilled Associate to join their New York City office.
Position Overview: As an Associate in the Private Credit team, you will play a critical role in the execution of middle-market direct lending transactions. You will work closely with senior team members to analyze, structure, and execute investment opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in the structuring and execution of middle-market direct lending transactions.
- Prepare and present investment memos and presentations to the investment committee.
- Monitor and manage portfolio investments, including financial performance tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with a focus on leveraged finance or direct lending.
- Proven track record of closing numerous transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
