A leading global investment firm is seeking a highly experienced Desktop Support to join their technology team in Singapore. This role involves monitoring and resolving technical issues across a global platform used from front to back office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage the helpdesk ticketing system and prioritize issues.
- Troubleshoot a variety of technical problems, including remote access and telephony.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors for complex solutions.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding and maintain IT documentation.
- Provide after-hours support for 24/7 coverage.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in helpdesk or IT support roles.
- Financial services experience, especially in asset management or hedge funds, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and common applications.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
