Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with investment teams and engineering groups to understand their data needs and leverage relevant market data to drive investment ideas.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., data management, legal & compliance, and data engineering) to optimize data procurement and usage.
- Manage the process of external developer qualification, RFQ generation, acceptance, and ingestion of delivered code.
- Discover, source, validate, and onboard new datasets that enable unique investment opportunities, working across internal teams and external vendors.
- Create and maintain an internal data library that collates information from both internal and external sources.
- Run, manage, and maintain data scripts from third-party vendors and sources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record.
- Experience coding/scripting (e.g., Python) and ability to collaborate with software engineers and analysts.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to operate effectively with multiple stakeholders and track/manage progress of in-flight tasks, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Demonstrable initiative in improving operational processes.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and articulate business requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and to collaborate across functions.
- Proactive and highly organized; demonstrated ability to independently manage a dynamic workload to tight deadlines.
