Overview:
We are seeking a Full Stack Senior Developer/ Full Stack Architect with experience in Web App development to join our team and lead the development of our cutting-edge financial modeling software platform. This role will report directly to the Head of the SaaS business and will play a crucial role in shaping the platform based on our strategic roadmap. The ideal candidate is a player-coach who is eager to grow into a Tech Lead role for a larger enterprise platform deployed at companies across the country and capable of connection with various systems via API connections. They will be supported by contractors in building the platform but will have ultimate ownership of the platform and the quality of the product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and architecture of a financial modeling software platform.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of the SaaS business to develop and execute the strategic roadmap.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in Python, C++, and SQL for backend development.
- Develop and maintain front-end components using JavaScript and React.
- Ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and performs well under load.
- Ensure the platform is scalable and will be capable of integrating with other products and various APIs during implementation
- Mentor and guide contractors and junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure the platform meets high standards of quality and user satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve the platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of experience in Web App Development
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer/Architect with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Agile framework experience
-Experience with cloud computing (Ideally AWS)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, SQL, JavaScript frameworks React, or other similar languages
- Strong understanding of database design and management.
- Experience working closely with a variety of teams including product management, Business Analysts, UI and UX designers, and developers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Experience with open banking is a huge plus
