A well-established insurance group with global presence is currently seeking a Compliance Officer to further strengthen their team. This insurer is offering a broad range of products to its private and institutional clients. That combined with the fact that you would be sitting within a relatively small team, means that you would cover a wide range of topics across the compliance space.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Compliance in the tasks and activities of the compliance function
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a compliance framework
- Support the implementation of actions related to ESG
- Stay up to date with changes in regulations concerning the Group
- Advise the staff and actively promote compliance needs internally
- Cooperation with specialised departments such as Internal Audit, HR and Legal
- Cooperation with law firms, auditing companies and authorities
Qualifications:
- Ideally 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of compliance, risk management, auditing and/or consulting
- Ability to think analytically and recognize complex issues
- Ability to be independent, self-reliant, and results-oriented
- Very good written and spoken English and German language skills
