Title: Commercial Lender or Portfolio Manager - Regional Bank
Location: Conway/Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
A community oriented Regional Bank is looking for highly energized individuals who are a driving force with originating new business. The team is open to this hire coming in as a Commercial Lender who has built a book of business, or even a Portfolio Manager who has a goal to hit the ground running and develop their own book on a highly motivated team.
This position offers you an exciting opportunity to not only work with a very culture-oriented group and serve the community and clients at a high level, but also be a part of the best performance year that the team is having yet. Along with that, the Commercial Lender or Portfolio Manager has the ability to work across all industries including C&I, CRE, Commercial, and Business Banking.
Desirable Background/Responsibilities:
- Commercial Banking background with several years of experience at another Commercial bank
- Experience working across C&I and/or CRE sectors.
- Solid credit/underwriting experience to oversee the transactions once they get pushed to the credit department
- Proven track record of having successful business development in the field with new clients and new opportunity with existing clients
- "Can do" attitude and drive to want to exceed sales targets
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Self-starter and ability to work well by themselves, or with others
