My client is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive the growth of their Surety Bonds division. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct business development initiatives within the Surety Bonds unit, ensuring alignment with the client's objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for market growth and expansion of the surety portfolio.
- Oversee underwriting procedures, ensuring thorough risk assessments and alignment with industry best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and reinsurers.
- Collaborate with the legal and claims teams to address any bond-related issues or claims.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience in surety bond underwriting and business development.
- Proven track record managing a network of brokers, agents, and business portfolios.
- Extensive knowledge and experience within the surety bonds industry.
- Strong sales expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills.

- Willingness to travel frequently, with a primary focus on the Texas region.
