Responsibilities:
- Fundraising: Lead fundraising efforts for the HK offshore entity (USD), targeting private wealth and high net worth clients.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with private wealth managers, family offices, and high net worth individuals.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base and assets under management.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the private wealth sector.
- Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the investment and marketing teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with the firm's overall goals.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on fundraising activities and client engagement to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, fundraising, or client relations within the financial services industry. Experience with private wealth and high net worth clients is essential.
- Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of the hedge fund industry.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of quantitative investment strategies and the private wealth sector.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
