Position Overview:
Selby Jennings is seeking a talented Actuarial Director of Medicare to join a high functioning team at a leading health insurance firm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to spearhead the Medicare division and lead a team of certified Actuaries. This role will be reporting directly to the Chief Actuary.

What you will be responsible for:
Implement strategy and manage day-to-day operations for Medicare programs.
Leading MAPD Bid Development and Pricing.
Lead a team of credentialed Actuaries responsible for the entire Medicare Bid process.
Collaborate and present to senior executives across the business including underwriting, finance, risk management, and marketing.

What you need to be successful:
Advanced hands on experience with Medicare Bids
5-7+ years of leadership experience
10+ years of Actuarial experience
FSA (preferred) or ASA Designation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
