Job Title: Actuarial Director
As the Actuarial Director for the Personal Auto Pricing Team, you will lead team developing and implementing rate and reserve recommendations using advanced actuarial techniques. Your responsibilities include:
- Directing financial data preparation and reporting for pricing, budgeting, reserving, and reinsurance.
- Developing rates and rating plans to meet corporate goals for profit, growth, and service.
- Applying predictive analytics and data mining to transform data into actionable insights.
- Leading and developing a team of approximately four-six direct reports.
What It Takes:
- FCAS designation and nine years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in computers, programming, SAS, Emblem, and predictive modeling tools.
- Advanced knowledge of the Property/Casualty insurance industry.
- Experience working with senior management, presenting financial decisons, accurate preparation, and reporting of financial data including pricing, budgeting, reserving, and reinsurance data.
