Job Title: Vice President, Turnaround and Restructuring

Location: NYC, New York

About Us: Our client is an industry-leading, boutique advisory firm specializing in turnaround and restructuring (T&R) services. They pride themselves on delivering innovative solutions to complex financial and operational challenges, helping its clients achieve sustainable success.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join its Turnaround and Restructuring team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of applicable experience, with at least 3 years of lateral experience in a Restructuring or Distressed role. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading successful turnaround and restructuring projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage turnaround and restructuring engagements from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to address financial and operational challenges.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence to identify key issues and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and execute restructuring plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant fields, with at least 3 years of lateral experience in Turnaround & Restructuring or a Distressed role.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and restructuring principles.
  • Experience in a consulting or advisory role preferred.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $180k - $225k

Projected Bonus: 50% - 100%+
