Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join its Turnaround and Restructuring team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of applicable experience, with at least 3 years of lateral experience in a Restructuring or Distressed role. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading successful turnaround and restructuring projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage turnaround and restructuring engagements from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to address financial and operational challenges.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence to identify key issues and opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and execute restructuring plans.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant fields, with at least 3 years of lateral experience in Turnaround & Restructuring or a Distressed role.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and restructuring principles.
- Experience in a consulting or advisory role preferred.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $180k - $225k
Projected Bonus: 50% - 100%+
