An exclusive client of Selby Jennings is currently looking to expand their P&C Actuarial department for an Actuarial Data Analyst!
You will collaborate with their insurance, underwriting, and engineering teams to support a range of modern commercial insurance products. This role offers exposure to life at an early-stage startup and the opportunity to help build a strong culture within the actuarial team and beyond.
We are looking for someone who has...
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial P&C actuarial work, particularly with middle-market casualty products and third-party data providers
- Proficiency in Python, dbt, and BI tools for analysis, visualization, reporting, and modeling
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or finance
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pricing models and data sources for middle-market P&C products
- Build and manage data analytics pipelines using data engineering tools
- Conduct rate level analysis, loss picks, and line profitability studies
