Job Title: Analyst/Associate - Turnaround and Restructuring

Location: New York, NY

Position Overview: They are seeking highly motivated Analysts and Associates to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for those with prior Turnaround and Restructuring (T&R) or bankruptcy experience. As an Analyst/Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting senior professionals in executing complex restructuring engagements and providing strategic advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to assess the viability of distressed companies.
  • Build 13-week, 3-financial statement, and debt models
  • Assist in the development and implementation of turnaround strategies and restructuring plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform industry and market research to support client engagements.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to identify and evaluate potential restructuring opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of restructuring initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance, consulting, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Turnaround and Restructuring (T&R) or bankruptcy is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Compensation:

Base Salary: $135k - $160k

Discretionary Bonus: 30% - 50%+
