Job Title: Turnaround and Restructuring MD

Location: New York, NY (Headquarters) with offices in Chicago, IL, and Boston, MA (Remote flexibility available)

The team is composed of seasoned professionals dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and driving successful outcomes for clients.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Turnaround and Restructuring professional to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in turnaround and restructuring, with a proven track record of serving as an Interim CEO, CFO, COO, or CRO. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel to offices and client sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex turnaround and restructuring engagements, providing strategic direction and oversight.
  • Serve as an Interim CEO, CFO, COO, or CRO for distressed companies, driving operational and financial improvements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive turnaround plans, including financial restructuring, operational optimization, and strategic repositioning.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support restructuring initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to identify and address key challenges and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports, presentations, and other deliverables to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Origination is highly desired but not required

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in turnaround and restructuring, with a proven track record of success.
  • Prior experience serving as an Interim CEO, CFO, COO, or CRO is required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Compensation:

Base Salary: $250k - $350k

Bonus: 50% -100%
