Position Overview: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing the firm's operational functions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, managing day-to-day operations, and driving organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute the firm's strategic plans and operational policies
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including finance, legal, compliance, human resources, and administrative functions
  • Performance Optimization: Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the firm
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor department heads, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Financial Oversight: Work closely with the CFO to manage financial operations, budgeting, and reporting
  • Portfolio Management: Support portfolio companies in operational improvements and strategic growth initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in operational leadership roles, preferably within private equity or related industries
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Skills: Strong analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of private equity operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance
