Job Title: Senior Vice President, Public Finance
Location: New York City, Dallas, and Los Angeles
Role Overview:
As a Senior Vice President, Public Finance, you will lead a team of finance professionals in delivering investment banking solutions for public sector clients.
This role has a strong emphasis on:
* Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with public sector clients, including municipalities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
* Client Coverage: Focus on clients in the states of New York, Texas, and California.
* Financial Advisory: Provide strategic financial advice on capital raising, debt structuring, and other financial transactions.
* Deal Execution: Oversee the execution of public finance transactions, including bond issuances, refinancing, and other funding mechanisms.
* One Bank Approach: Collaborate with other product groups across the organization to ensure clients' needs are met on all fronts, including derivatives desk, capital markets, asset-backed finance, and others.
* Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the public finance sector.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of junior bankers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in public finance or related fields, with a strong track record of successful deal execution.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
* Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills; proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis.
* Licenses: Series 63 and 52 licenses preferred.
