Finance Manager | 1 Year Contract
Office Location: Singapore CBD
Brief Description of Key Responsibilities:
- Handles end-to-end accounting and highly complex reporting tasks.
- Manages general ledger activities and prepares variance analyses for legal entities.
- Submits monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory filings.
- Prepares annual financial statements and coordinates audits.
- Liaises with tax teams on filings (GST, corporate tax, etc.) and transfer pricing policies.
- Oversees external accounting providers and reviews local GAAP financials.
- Executes month-end closing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitors liquidity and capital through cash flow and regulatory capital projections.
- Ensures compliance with multiple GAAPs for accounting entries and statements.
- Improves processes and identifies exceptions in accounting activities.
- Maintains a strong control environment and fulfills ad hoc requests.
- Engages in Controllership accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Coordinates business change impacts on financial positions and regulatory needs.
- Manages special projects (e.g., new business setups, system enhancements).
- Works with the London team (30%) of the time and communicates over calls with them 2x a week.
