Selby Jennings is partners with a Mid-Market M&A Investment Banking seeking Investment Banking Associates or Investment Banking Vice Presidents with experience in HCIT.

This Investment Bank boasts a high rate of closed deals, and has a pipeline for 2025 and 2026 that requires additional execution bankers. Ideal candidates have experience in Software or HCIT M&A, and are located or open to relocating to the SF area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution of M&A transactions from inception to completion.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support transaction decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitch materials to clients and potential investors.
  • Perform comprehensive due diligence and coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry contacts, and potential investors.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the HCIT sector.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A transactions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the HCIT sector, including knowledge of industry trends and key players.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior team members.
