QA Automation Engineer
Summary
Selby Jennings is partnered with an leading Hedge Fund in the NYC area looking to add a senior SDET resource to its workflow technology team within the firm's capital markets division. This team develops and supports the firm's marquee trading platform/products utilized by external clients that provides some of the largest global investors with the liquidity they need to trade across a wide variety of products.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test , you'll play a key role in building out new test suites and automation infrastructure from scratch to support the team's development process across a suite of trade life-cycle management products.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop testing/automation strategy as well as provide cross function coordination
- Interact with local and global tech team members to derive testing scope out of release changes
- Build and implement UI and API test suites and automation frameworks
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience with testing/automating tests within financial services
- Experience developing automation solutions in Python
- Experience building automated test suites and/or building out enterprise-wide testing frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
