Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Company Secretarial professionals looking for the next step in their career.
What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
- Bachelor degree in law, business studies, accounting or similar training
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Financial Services/Funds Industry
- Sound knowledge of Luxembourg or Irish fund industry (laws and regulations)
What is your role and your responsibilities?
- Manage a varied portfolio of entities through the accurate preparation and issue of agendas, board papers and minutes for all board meetings.
- Build and manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders of Funds
- Follow up on any issues raised at Board Meetings coupled with regular interaction with clients in order to provide an update at the next meeting.
- Review and draft documents and department procedures.
- Act as a channel of communication for directors, clients and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with the Articles of Association
- Review developments in Corporate Governance and Company Law in order to advise and assist the directors with regard to their duties and responsibilities and compliance with their personal obligations under Company Law.
- Undertake regulatory filings.
- Act as a role model/mentor to the junior members of the Company Secretarial Team.
- Client billing
- Other duties as required.
What competencies do you require?
- Energetic, solutions-based professional with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated individual who is detail-focused and has strong communication and organizational skills
- A team player who is willing to help and support colleagues
- Creative and practical in your approach to work and capable of delivering the required solutions to clients
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal; any other language is a strong asset (German, French) for Luxembourg Manager role.
- Good command of Microsoft Office
