Due to continued growth and increasing deal flow, our client is looking to add an Investment Banking Associate to their talented team.
Position Overview:
The Investment Banking Associate will play a critical role in our client's M&A advisory team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience within investment banking, with a focus on M&A transactions. You will be responsible for supporting senior bankers in all aspects of the deal process, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, pitch book preparation, client communication, and due diligence. This is an excellent opportunity to take on more responsibility and gain exposure to high-impact deals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence support.
- Prepare and deliver pitch materials, including presentations, offering memorandums, and other client-facing documents.
- Conduct industry and company research to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for clients.
- Work closely with senior bankers to develop strategic recommendations and client deliverables.
- Manage junior analysts and provide guidance and mentorship on financial analysis and transaction processes.
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party professionals to facilitate the smooth execution of transactions.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies).
- Proven track record in preparing client-facing materials, including pitch books and presentation decks.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
