Compensation: $150,000 - $210,000
About the Company: We are collaborating with one of the country's most expansive automotive groups, known for their acquisitive nature in the dealership space. This family-owned business operates over 40 businesses across the West Coast, offering a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Role Overview: The Corporate Development Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the team's growth by evaluating, executing, and integrating acquisitions. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support acquisition evaluations.
- Strategic Assessment: Assess the strategic merits of potential acquisitions, including market positioning and competitive analysis.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Integration Management: Oversee the integration of acquired targets, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with company goals.
- Due Diligence: Manage comprehensive business due diligence processes to evaluate potential acquisition targets.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, consulting, or private equity.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the automotive, consumer, or retail space is a plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a strategic mindset.
- Location: Must be willing to relocate to Portland, OR.
