Responsibilities:
- Investment Analysis: The Associate will conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Deal Execution: The role involves assisting in structuring and negotiating investment transactions, including drafting investment memos and coordinating with legal and financial advisors.
- Portfolio Management: The Associate will monitor and manage portfolio companies, providing strategic and operational support to drive growth and improve performance.
- Market Research: Staying informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics within the healthcare and business services sectors is essential.
- Relationship Management: The Associate will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including company management teams, industry experts, and co-investors.
- Reporting: Preparing regular reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investment committees and limited partners, is a key responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience: The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a related field, with a focus on healthcare and business services.
- Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are necessary.
