Sr Manager - Financial Close & Consolidation
Job Summary: Our client is looking for a highly experienced Sr Manager - Financial Close & Consolidation to join a great team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their financial close and consolidation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GAAP consolidation and experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable. This position will be responsible for preparing the statement of cash flows and overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all teams are aligned to complete financial statements and present them to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial close and consolidation process, focusing on GAAP consolidation.
- Prepare and review the statement of cash flows.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close, coordinating with various teams to complete financial statements.
- Present financial statements to senior leadership.
- Manage and mentor direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in financial consolidation, preferably within the insurance industry.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP consolidation; STAT knowledge is a plus.
- Proven ability to prepare and review statements of cash flows.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience with Workday GL is a plus.
