Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal/Principal Actuary to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold their FCAS designation and have a proven track record in actuarial consulting and business development. This role involves taking over an established book of business and driving growth through strategic client engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage actuarial projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Oversee and mentor junior actuarial staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Conduct thorough actuarial analyses and provide expert recommendations to clients.
- Take ownership of an established book of business, ensuring continuity and growth.
- Engage in business development activities to expand our client base and service offerings.
Qualifications:
- FCAS designation is required.
- Extensive experience in actuarial consulting, with a focus on property and casualty insurance.
- Strong business development skills and a proven ability to grow client relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the Southeast region as needed.
